Definitely a heavier duty version of our campers stock stabilizers. They bolted right up to the brackets and glad we have new stabilizers. I hope the paint lasts on these as that seems to be an issue with the other, cheaper stabilizers. Time will tell.

Very Satisfied.

Straight forward drop in replacement for the old worn out jacks that came with my trailer. Mounting flange and holes were identical in size and location. These were about 3/4" longer than the old jacks but that wasn't enough to cause an issue.
The best thing about these is that they are much sturdier than the old, cheap jacks Forrest River installed at the factory. The scissor legs are wider and the screw is larger with finer threads. Possibly overkill for my single axel trailer that weighs at most 6,000lbs fully loaded but the price was right so I bought 4 of them.
The only CON is that the screws were not straight right out of the box. I don't think this will cause an issue for normal operation but I was a bit surprised to see the whole scissor assembly wobble when lowering and raising them.

by:

if I had to rate this upgrade in difficulty one being the easiest five being the hardest, it would be a one. Super simple. Take the nuts and bolts off your old hardware and install the upgrade in its place. I read some of the reviews were people were annoyed with the counter clockwise rotation and the bolt sticking out too far. I really didn’t see a problem with either. I know you’re not supposed to use a drill to extend and retract these but I always have. I suppose as long as you’re not torquing the heck out of the adjustment screw you shouldn’t have any problems. I always put a small flat 2 x 6 piece of wood under the foot of each one of these. It seems to add quite a bit of stability.

Perfectly! Keep em clean with a coat of lubricant &amp theyll serve you well!

by:

The jacks themselves have worked great, they keep the trailer level and solid during our concession events. I just had them mounted to the trailer so I don't have to put them in and out at each event. The jack handles leave a bit to be desired so I use a 20v drill w/ a 3/4" socket to run them up and down.

by:

Jacks hold up good to everyday usage

by:

Easy to mount jack
Closes to a very
small size
Load and unload without the trailer connected.

The jacks are still working great. Thanks again!

by:

Great Addition to Flagstaff camper!!!!!Pop up camper came installed with only 2 stabilizers. We added these 2 to the front . We love the extra stability. Easy to install with self drilling/tapping hex head screws.

by:

eTrailer processed the order quickly and I had the jacks within 3 days....thank you eTrailer. They were really easy to install and operate flawlessly. I was concerned that they threading would be too fine and the jacks would take forever to raise and lower, but I was wrong. They operate smooth and fast with no issues.

If you need to stabilize the back end of your trailer I would certainly recommend these.

by:

I bought these two jacks for the rear of my Keystone Bullet. I had already purchased two and installed them on the front. The trailer seems more stable now, with not so much motion evident when moving about inside the trailer. No drilling was necessary. The jacks bolted on using the existing holes in the trailer (2016 Keystone Bullet 311BHS).

by:

These scissor jacks work well. Installation was relatively easy, just had to drill a few holes. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they turn counterclockwise to extend and all the other jacks of this type I've used turn clockwise. This isn't a huge deal but I didn't see anything in the description that mentioned the reversed threading.

by:

I purchased these stabilizers to replace the electric stabilizers on my 2017 Jayco. The electric stabilizers were terrible. They rusted in two years and didn’t do much to stabilize the camper. These new ones installed quickly and easily and I immediately noticed the difference. They arrived within 3 days of ordering.

by:

The jacks worked excellent and will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing parts for their RV... I will be buying more things for my camper soon

by:

Bought these for my 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite 2506s to replace all 4 of my jacks. They were only 5000 lb jacks and were all bent up. These jacks are beefier and hold 1500 more lbs per jack. Bolts up perfectly in the same holes. Also the trailer feels more sturdy when they are all down.

by:

New jacks and tires arrived quickly. Installation was easy since no new drilling was required.

by:

Excellent people to deal with, fast shipping and I mean fast. Excellent product did exactly what we wanted, no more swaying.... Yay. Only took 2 hours to install, fast and easy

by:

Was a very simple unbolt old and install new. The mounting hole on the jacks matched up with the pattern on the jacks being replaced so there was no extra drilling required.

by:

I have used these scissor jacks on a trailer stand hunting blind. Which is a top heavy situation. The jacks on all 4 corners of the trailer added a tremendous stable platform.

by:

These appear to be exactly the same as the jacks on my camper. Very good quality.

by:

Another great fit, mine were destroyed and these were direct replacements, no cutting no welding .. thank you

by:

By weight alone, two of the removed OEM jacks weighed what one of the jacks I just received weighs. The Quality it great and they fit right where the previous jacks fit. The Travel Trailer feels more stable with the new jacks and I can now get a little help when minor level is required when parked on uneven surfaces. I should have done this right away, not after coming back from a 7000 mile trip. The OEM jacks would twist if I put too much load on them and the new jacks do not have that problem.

Jacks more better than original jacks. OEM Jacks barely supported my trailer, but after installing the new jacks in all four corners my Travel Trailer is more steady than it ever was.

by:

All 4 Jacks arrived as stated. I Have placed them on the RV. They are doing as described. Very Happy. This the 2nd time I have ordered Stabilizer Jacks. These are for a second Trailer. I also have quick Jack Releases for the Jacks as to be easily removed for storage. I will continue to order again from this company.

Great I am always on the move and they make it so much easier. A lot better than my original Jacks.

by:

Great, get 2 for price of one from local dealer

by:

We installed the scissor jacks last year. One was in one direction and the other one winds in the opposite direction. Never saw anything like that before ever. Then when lowering the jack for the first time it folded like nothing we have seen before. I work hard for my money and the scissor jacks purchased were not built well at all (they didn’t even make it thru the first use)

by:

Bought 2 to level our truck camper. Jacks are rugged enough to hold truck and camper once lifted but they did need help from the trucks jack to lift to desired level. Not enough lifting power for this application

These jacks are designed to stabilize a portion of your trailers weight, not to support the full GVWR of your trailer. Do not use these jacks to lift your trailer or RV. Doing so will exceed the capacity of these jacks. The support capacity per jack is 6,500 lbs and the combined support capacity is 13,000 lbs, but please note that these are not for lifting.

  • How to Add Ground Clearance to Fleetwood Travel Trailer
To add clearance on your 2004 Fleetwood Terry Travel Trailer I recommend installing what is called an over/under conversion kit, which moves your trailer's leaf springs to the top of your axle and lifts your trailer approximately the same amount as your axle's diameter plus the height of the leaf spring pack (please keep in mind this conversion kit is for use with double-eye springs only). I have added a photo a customer sent in which displays how the kit will look after being installed. If...

I believe these will work well to stabilize your trailer for loading. They can be adjusted using the hand crank or you can use the Ultra-Fab Speed Socket Power Drill Adapter for Scissor Jacks # UF48-979005 if you prefer. • What System Can I Use to Both Stabilize and Lift my Camper?
I have a solution for you but using any type of stabilizer jack to lift your camper is a no go. They are designed specifically to stabilize they are not rated for lifting. In most cases during storage it is not required to lift your wheels off of the ground they will generally keep their round shape as long as they're inflated properly and will be just fine when you pull it out for use. We do have a storage option generally used for vehicles but that will work great if you are concerned...

  • Can Scissor Jacks Be Used to Stabilize a 31 Foot Class C RV
Yes, scissor jacks like # UF48-979002 work well as stabilizers for trailers and RVs. You also might want to consider the 4-pack of stabilizers, # UF48-979004. Each one of these has a capacity of 6,000 pounds. They are for stabilizing only and not for lifting. They stack or nest together or easy storage. They are height adjustable from 11 inches to 17 inches. A great option if you do not want something permanently attached to the trailer.
